BLOGGING OUR SCHOOL

Hi! We are the Group 2. We are making a blog about our school for our project. The school we are blogging is Le Athenaeum Montessori of Bulacan which is located at Gimeno Bldg., B. Gungon Street, Guyong, Sta. Maria, Bulacan, Philippines.

Here is the front of our school. Read this blog if you want to know about our school.

HISTORY OF LE ATHENAEUM MONTESSORI OF BULACAN
LE ATHENAEUM MONTESSORI OF BULACAN takes its roots from LITTLE ANGELS MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF BULACAN, a school founded in 1987. Commonly known as L.A Montessori, the school became a forerunner of a balanced integrated Montessori education in Pulong Buhangin, Santa Maria, Bulacan, Philippines. In April 2009, L.A Montessori relocated in Guyong, Santa Maria, Bulacan, Philippines and has since then been under the team leadership of cousins Ramil R. Nicolas, Ruel GC. Nicolas and Corazon DR. Buenaventura. On October 19, 2010 LE ATHENAEUM MONTESSORI OF BULACAN was formally established. It is now establishing itself as a learning institution in Guyong, Santa Maria that provides a wide array of learning experiences for its students.

PHILOSOPHY
LE ATHENAEUM MONTESSORI upholds Dr. Maria Montessori's philosophy that education is not something which the teacher does, but that it is a natural process which develops spontaneously in the human being. Montessori said," We cannot make a genius. We can only give to each child the chance to fulfill his potential possibilities.". LE ATHENAEUM MONTESSORI also believes and practices what Bible teaches in Proverbs 22:6-" Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it."

VISION
To become the institution that leads each CHILD to reach his/her full potential possessing the knowledge, skills, and traits that enable him/her perform his/her role as a responsible member of his/her home and community.

MISSION
Le Athenaeum aim to provide students with quality education with a balanced educational program of activities, efficiently and effectively tapping their potentials as unique learners, for them to live to the fullest, to bring honor to their family and to serve others as excellent and faithful stewards of God's gift, and in so doing give glory to God.
